Event held to promote awareness of LGBT community, prevent bullying, suicide: The participants' silence represented the lack of communication, awareness and prevention of bullying toward the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community. The event is put on by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
