Event held to promote awareness of LGBT community, prevent bullying, suicide : The participants' silence represented the lack of communication, awareness and prevention of bullying toward the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender ( LGBT ) community. The event is put on by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
